Matthew Flynn

Born in Dallas Texas, Matthew Flynn moved with family at the age of ten to Colorado. Spending a lot of time outside at a young age but never having considered it as an occupation, it wasn't until later in life that he began the prospecting that would spark a passion for the industry. Having blown glass for five years prior to finding an interest in gemstones and minerals it was probably only a matter of time before moving into the more artistic sectors of stone cutting and jewelry fabrication. Trained under Vasken Tanielian at the Revere Academy for CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design & Computer Aided Manufacturing) among many other classes at the academy, as well as gem cutting taught by Jim Barzee, Matthew is proficient at creating custom designed jewelry and gemstones cuts. Utilizing the tools learned at Revere Academy and EnvisionTEC headquarters he can produce high quality castings of elaborate designs restricted solely by the flow rates of the metals themselves. Combined with training for gemstone treatment identification under the instruction of Cigdem Lule, the winner of the 2016 Bonanno award for scholarly contribution to and excellence in gemology, rounds out a short but intensive education that is furthered day by day. The ultimate goal of these endeavors; to bring the best quality product possible to the community, directly from the ground to a finished, usually wearable product.
